The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the FRSC Zonal Command has four-state areas of responsibility, which include Kaduna, Katsina, Kano and Jigawa.

Omiko said no organization could advance beyond the competence and dedication of its personnel, neither could any organizational goals and plans be achieved without highly committed and dedicated personnel to drive its implementation process.

According to him, promotion is a management tool that is used in virtually all organizations, including the FRSC, to enhance productivity by recognising hard work, commitment, diligence and dedication to duty.

“I therefore, heartily congratulate you all and pray the Lord continue to perfect your careers and grant you all the courage to sustain and continually exhibit those professional virtues that will propel you far in your careers.

He reminded them that to whom much was given, much more was desired.
He urged them not to rest on their oars but rededicate yourselves to the service of humanity and the nation.

“Therefore, while discharging your duties, I urge you to deploy your intellect, be courteous, civil and polite, and above all, be guided by the extant rules and regulations of Federal Road Safety Corps.

“Also I want to enjoin you all to remain apolitical towards a peaceful, free, fair and credible 2023 General Elections.
He appreciated the Corps Marshal, FRSC, Board and indeed President Muhammadu Buhari for granting us this special privilege.

He explained that the business of Road Safety was a shared responsibility and every services rendered to humanity was service rendered unto God.

“Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) have continued to become a source of concern to us due to its continued rise in figures as well as other traffic infringements by motorists.

However, we can collectively reduce them if we all can volunteer to become Road Safety Advocates by taking the message of safety to our homes, social media, and places of relaxation, churches, mosques, markets, motor parks and host of many others.

“I implore you as a matter of urgency, as you go back to your destination, to discuss road safety and drive the message of Road Safety home for maximum impact by all, “Omiko said.
