The Residents of Tarauni Local Government Area in Kano State, have commended the Federal Government and the Contractor Handling 2.4 Roads kilometre project Gerawa Global Engineering for the speed and quality project which is now under construction and is scheduled to be completed in early February 2023.
Residents also commended Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Works, for his dedication to seeing that the road project—which will aid the Kano residents in terms of economic development and growth—comes to fruition.
According to them the roads project is a lifetime opportunity to the entire people of Tarauni local government.
The residents who were full of gratitude for the federal government said since the present administration started constructing the roads in Kano state the residents have benefited immensely with the divedent of democracy
Most of the residents interviewed expressed satisfaction over the speed and quality of work done by the contractor, Gerawa Global engineering
According to them , it takes a government with great level of political will and concern for the citizens to award such works in side the Kano Municipal area.
The 2.4 kilometres road project namely; Sahara, General Bashir Magashi and Bello Al-Adam Street, was awarded by the federal ministry of Works And Housing as part of emergency intervention roads project which scheduled to complete by early February 2023.
The Managing Director Of Gerawa Global Engineering Engr. Abubakar Khalil, has assured of the completion of the Township roads in the next three weeks.
Engr. Abubakar Khalil, , gave these assurances in an interview with newsmen, When he visited the site, Wednesday, saying that Gerawa Global Engineering is committed for doing a very quality roads projects across Nigeria.
According to him the roads project has reached 80 percent completion as Drainages work was completed since.
Engr. Abukakar Khalil, thanked the residents for the cooperation and support given to the company which is commendable, vowed to execute quality work.
